Anyone own a Gitane (Saga) gypsy jazz guitar out there?
I'm looking for an acoustic to cover gypsy jazz and general jazz stuff. I like the Gitane guitar range, which I'm sure are great for gypsy jazz, but is their tone a little cutting for general jazz or folk fingerstyle? Anyone out there use their Gitane for others styles as well?

A couple of years ago while traveling through Austin, Texas, I ran into a husband and wife team called 'Gypsy Moon' - Ray and Linda Sriro. They are all about gypsy jazz guitar, as they both play these Chinese/Taiwanese Maccaferri imitations. I do not remember what brand these guitars were, but if you were to send them an email (GypsyMoon@austin.rr.com), I'm sure they could tell you.
